Two days of technical exchange — member briefs, expert panels, spirited breakouts, and student competition — bringing together academia, government, and industry around the future of autonomous and AI-enabled aerospace.
Deploying autonomous systems across complex multi-domain environments, from edge platforms to enterprise missions.
Human-machine teaming, trust calibration, and interface design for operator-autonomous system collaboration.
Intelligent detection, tracking, and neutralization strategies for uncrewed aerial threats in contested airspace.
PNT robustness in GPS-denied and contested environments — multi-modal sensing, fusion, and resilient architectures.
Responsible AI adoption, transition from academia to government and industry, and the evolving human role in intelligent systems.
Cross-cutting IS research spanning air, space, land, sea, and cyber — interoperability, federation, and command architectures.
Students present original research across the workshop's intelligent systems themes. Posters are displayed during lunch on Day 1, with dedicated viewing time in the afternoon. This is a chance to engage directly with government, industry, and academic attendees on your work.
A panel of ISTC members and guest judges evaluates student posters across criteria including technical merit, relevance to aerospace IS challenges, and presentation quality. Awards are announced at the Student Poster Awards ceremony following lunch on Day 1. No registration fee for students.
